It's the first Hall of Fame ceremony since Tony Gwynn passed away, but his family is there to honor his memory.
Leaderboarding: The greatness of Tony Gwynn
As most baseball fans know, Sunday marks the Hall of Fame ceremony, with a stacked six-man class. Back in 2007, one of the best handlers of the bat in history was enshrined. I speak, of course, of Mr. Padre, Tony Gwynn.
Sunday, Gwynn's family was in Cooperstown for the first ceremony without their dearly departed Hall of Famer. Here's a picture of the family, with Tony's plaque right above them:
Young slugger Joey Gallo has been recalled from the minors
The hats will be for sale in Citi Field, too, as Piazza's number is retired
The teen was able to help his teammate until emergency medical personnel arrived
Rosenthal hasn't been very good this season, but that doesn't mean the Cardinals won't miss...
A-Rod is not expected to start the rest of the week
It will be the Rocket's professional managerial debut
