PHOTOS: Carlos Gomez goes crazy with pink for Mother's Day
Not only was Carlos Gomez using a pink bat, wrist bands and wearing a pink necklace Sunday, but he dyed his goatee pink.
Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez was in the spirit of Mother's Day Sunday. As we all know, MLB annually does its part in raising breast cancer awareness by going pink on Mother's Day. We'll see pink bats, batting gloves, wrist bands ... the works.
Gomez took it a step further, though. It may be tough to see in the above photo, but he dyed his goatee pink. Here's a better shot, via USA Today Sports Images, in which we can also see his pink necklace:
