The New York Jets traded cornerback Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the weekend, and it didn't take long for the local baseball club in his new city to make him feel welcome.

If you don't really pay attention to football, the joke there is that Revis and the Jets were unable to come to an ageement on a long-term contract extension, essentially forcing the trade. His new six-year deal with the Bucs is worth $96 million, but reportedly none of it is guaranteed. That would never fly in baseball. Nearly every MLB contract is guaranteed.

The Rays welcome the Yankees to town for a three-game set starting Monday night.
