Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. (COL-BOS GameTracker) registered a second-inning double off Rockies starter Jorge De La Rosa on Tuesday night and in doing so extended his MLB-best hit streak to 28 games. MLB.com has video of Bradley's extra-base knock.

That, of course, means that Bradley is now halfway to Joe DiMaggio's record hit streak of 56 games, which he set in 1941.

Bradley is now batting .346/.416/.627 on the year, and he has a line of .414/.491/.798 (with eight doubles, three triples, and eight home runs) since his streak began. As you're about to see, Bradley has been using the whole field over the course of these 28 games.

Bradley hasn't gone hitless since an 0-for-4 performance against the Astros on April 23.
