Reports: Adam Lind has broken foot, will miss 6-8 weeks
Blue Jays DH Adam Lind has a broken right foot and will miss six to eight weeks, the Blue Jays are telling reporters.

Lind was in the middle of a very solid season, too, as he is hitting .320/.389/.878 (139 OPS+) with 16 doubles, four homers and 27 RBI in 61 games. The Blue Jays have club options for both the 2015 and 2016 seasons on his current deal, so it's possible he'll hit free agency.
So, assuming a second opinion doesn't clear Lind to play, he'll join Edwin Encarnacion and Brett Lawrie on the DL. That leaves right fielder Jose Bautista as the everyday first baseman while newly-acquired Nolan Reimold mans right field and probably a rotating DH.
