In August, Boston University will play host to Saberseminar 2014: Sabermetrics, Scouting, and the Science of Baseball -- the annual gathering of MLB execs and analysts in which partipants talk baseball and raise money for the Jimmy Fund.
Among this year's headline guests will be Red Sox GM Ben Cherington, architect of the reigning champs, and Astros GM Jeff Luhnow, overseer of one of the boldest rebuilding projects in recent baseball history, as well as former MLB pitcher Brian Bannister.
