Tracy McGrady's pro baseball debut: not good

Former NBA star Tracy McGrady made his professional baseball debut on Saturday night. Taking the mound for the independent-league Sugar Land Skeeters against the Somerset Patriots, T-Mac yielded the following line: 

So that comes to a 10.80 ERA for the game. That's not good, obviously. That said, McGrady's a 34-year-old who hasn't seen game action since high school. That he was able to record five outs is at least something.

It remains to be seen whether the experiment continues, but remember that this is the indy leagues, where there's no harm in a novelty act.
