Tweet of the Day: Dodgers have a quiet deadline
As odd as it seems given recent history, the Dodgers actually sat out a major trade deadline.
The post-Frankie Parking Lots Dodgers are famous for, among other things, executing a leveraged buyout of the the Red Sox's payroll and signing Zack Greinke and trading for Hanley Ramirez and paying Brandon League as though he were someone other than Brandon League.
In other words, they've taken the "9-year-old with a chemistry set" approach to team-building. What follows, then, might come as a shock to those who are accustomed to the Dodgers' recent machinations ...
