Twins place Aaron Hicks on seven-day concussion DL
Minnesota outfielder Aaron Hicks will get some time to recover from the injury he suffered while playing the field on Thursday.
On Thursday night, Twins outfielder Aaron Hicks was shaken up after he collided with the fence while going back on an eventual triple by Scott Van Slyke of the Dodgers. On Friday, the Twins placed Hicks on the seven-day concussion disabled list.
This season, the 24-year-old Hicks is batting .178/.315/.260 in 24 games. For his career, he owns an OPS+ of 65 across parts of two big-league seasons.
