VIDEO: Aaron Hicks robs a home run, hits two of his own
Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks hit two home runs and stole one away from the White Sox on Monday night.
Twins rookie center fielder Aaron Hicks has had a very tough first month in the big leagues, but his play has improved in recent weeks. The 23-year-old had the best game of his young career on Monday night, robbing Adam Dunn of a homer while swatting two of his own:
Although Hicks is hitting a measly .152/.256/.286 in 31 games overall, he's put up a much more respectable .246/.323/.491 batting line in his last 18 games. He also has a power-heavy .933 OPS in the month of May.
Baseball America ranked Hicks as the 72nd best prospect in baseball a few weeks ago, and on Monday it was very easy to see why. The kid is some kind of athlete.
