VIDEO: Adam Dunn hits 475-foot homer, tied for longest HR of 2013

On the scoreboard, all solo home runs are created equal. It just counts as one, no matter how far you hit it. Aesthetically speaking, however, all home runs are not created equal. This wasn't an excuse-me swing going down the right field line at Fenway Park and hitting Pesky's Pole at 302 feet away. This was Adam Dunn making the 420-foot center field wall in Comerica Park look close to home plate:

According to the White Sox's official Twitter account, the gargantuan blast traveled an estimated 475 feet.

That means that Dunn's shot has tied for the longest home run of the season, per Home Run Tracker. On April 18, Anthony Rizzo hit one 475 feet:

On April 29, Mark Trumbo did the same:

So now Dunn has joined the 475 club for the 2013 season.
