VIDEO: Call upheld in first official use of instant replay

After weeks of testing during spring training, the new expanded replay system is now live for the regular season. New Cubs manager Rick Renteria made history Monday, becoming the first man to use the new system. He challenged a bang-bang play at first base in the fifth inning of his team's game against the Pirates.

Here's the play:

Not bad at all. Only took about a minute and 45 seconds for the replay, which is much longer than most we saw this spring. Most importantly, they confirmed the call was correct.
