VIDEO: Ceremonial skydiver crashes into baseball player
A ceremonial pre-game skydive took an unfortunate turn on Saturday. Everyone is okay though, so it's safe to laugh.
If you've been to enough baseball games, then chances are you've seen someone skydive onto the field as part of a pre-game ceremony. Usually the field is empty when they parachute in, but sometimes not. And those sometimes occasionally result in hilarity:
The unfortunate player in the video is Chicago State shortstop Mattingly Romanin, who is currently playing with the Hannibal Cavemen of the summer collegiate Prospect League in Missouri. Don't worry, both he and the skydiver are okay. At least I think they're okay:
i feel like i got kicked in the face yesterday, oh wait....— Mattingly Romanin (@MRomanin2) July 21, 2013
Yeah, he's fine.
