VIDEO: Jayson Werth isn't a fan of microphones
Following Thursday's loss, the Nationals' Jayson Werth had an uncomfortable encounter with a microphone.
Being a pro athlete comes with many, many perks. One of the downsides is having to talk to the media, and for baseball players that means every single day. Imagine being in a week-long slump and having to answer questions about it after each game. That's rough.
Following his team's loss on Thursday, Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth was in a particularly grouchy mood. It happens after losses. Unfortunately, someone stuck a microphone a little to close to his trademark beard.
I like that Werth just walked away from the interview after that. I guess that's the good thing about the daily interviews, you can just walk away. Then again, that only makes matters worse.
Clearly, the microphone holder is the primary offender here. Gotta respect the personal bubble.
