Butler's hitting only .238 on the season, so squaring one up like that and still not getting a hit has to be a pretty tough pill to swallow.

On the other hand, the Royals did get one off Casey Janssen in the ninth anyway and go on to win in 10 innings, 8-6, snapping the Blue Jays' nine-game winning streak.

Must've been the new hitting coach.
