VIDEO: Miguel Cabrera homers twice in first four innings
Miguel Cabrera hadn't homered this spring before Monday, when he did so twice in the first four innings.
It had been since Oct. 13th -- Game 2 of the ALCS in Fenway Park -- since we saw Tigers superstar Miguel Cabrera hit a home run. Monday, Miggy got back into the act when he went yard twice against the Cardinals.
In the top of the third, he took a low-and-outside pitch with an almost effortless-looking swing over the right field wall (click here for the video highlight).
Then, in the top of the fourth, he did this:
Before the game started, Cabrera brought in a .400/.571/.467 spring batting line. Midseason form, Miggy? Yep, midseason form.
