VIDEO: Ohio sportscaster gets 'dumbest, stupidest call' about Jeter
Ohio sportscaster Bruce Drennan recently received what he called the "dumbest, stupidest call" about Derek Jeter and the Indians.
Bruce Drennan has been in the sports talk radio game for a long time, and he currently hosts All Bets Are Off on SportsTime Ohio. At some point in the last few days, a caller asked him about the possibility of the Indians adding ... Derek Jeter? Yep. Not the usual talk radio topic, for sure.
Here is Drennan's response:
The breaststroke pulls it all together. Drennan sums it up with "that maybe the dumbest, stupidest call and question that I’ve ever encountered."
I get asking about guys like Troy Tulowitzki and Jose Fernandez and Mike Trout. What's the point of baseball if we can't talk about our favorite teams trading for those guys? But Jeter in his final season? That is one ambitious fan.
