VIDEO: Pitcher snags line drive with behind the back catch
In an effort to assuage your craving for baseball, here's a short clip of a crazy behind the back catch from Japan.
Jonesin' for some baseball? We all are. To help hold you over, here's a sweet behind the back catch by right-hander Bobby Keppel of the Nippon Ham Fighters:
All pitchers retweet! https://t.co/jFhv5jwI3X— Baseball Vines (@BasebaIIVines) January 3, 2014
The video is obviously dated a bit, but I just came across it today.
Keppel has spent the last four years in Japan but he also played parts of three big league seasons with three different teams. His last MLB action was with the Twins in 2009. Keppel was actually the winning pitcher in the Game 163 tie-breaker against the Tigers that year.
Anyway: Hey, nice catch Bobby.
