Blue Jays knuckleballer R.A. Dickey spoke to '60 Minutes' about the way that he became the man and pitcher that he is today.
R.A. Dickey's baseball journey from first round pick to flameout to knuckleballer to journeyman to Cy Young award winner is very well known by now. His life story, which includes a near-suicide attempt and a literal hitting of rock bottom, makes the baseball journey that much more amazing. The Blue Jays' knuckleballer recently spoke to 60 Minutes about the process of becoming the man (and pitcher) he is today:
