VIDEO: Reynolds retaliates against Parker's retaliation with a homer
Mark Reynolds of the Indians got even with A's right-hander Jarrod Parker following a hit-by-pitch with a long, long homer.
Some background info: Jason Kipnis and Asdrubal Cabrera of the Indians hit back-to-back solo homers off Jarrod Parker of the Athletics in the first inning on Monday night. Later in the inning, Parker hit Mark Reynolds with a pitch out of what appeared to be frustration. Both benches were warned. A few innings later, Reynolds retaliated with his monster shot:
The official measurement was 460 feet, but the height is what makes that homer impressive. It hung up there for a long time before landing at the back of the Progressive Field bleachers. Retaliating against the retaliation. Sounds like a band name.
