Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano is finally on the board.
Coming into Thursday's action, Mariners second baseman (and $240-million investment) Robinson Cano was homer-less on the season. His overall production wasn't bad (99 OPS+ -- not star-level but not bad), but 13 of his 15 hits were singles. He's a power hitter, you know.

Not a towering blast, to be sure, but it counts. It's probably the first of many this season. The M's had better hope so, anyway.
