Ryan Braun was one of 13 players suspended for their ties to Biogenesis last season, though unlike most of those players, his suspension was 65 games, not 50. MLB considered him a serial user based on his failed 2011 drug test, which was overruled in arbitration.

On Monday, after hearing a chorus of boos every time he came to the plate in spring training, Braun played his first game in Milwaukee since the suspension. How did the Brewers faithful react? Watch and listen:

More than anything, I think this goes to show that most fans simply do not care all that much about performance-enhancing drugs. Do they wish they were out of the game? Yeah, probably. But that will never fully happen.

Most fans watch baseball and go to games because, well, they want to have fun and they want to watch their team win. Braun is a great player and he helps the Brewers win. Of course they cheered him. They're baseball fans, not moralists.
