VIDEO: Ryan Braun hits a home run in his first spring at-bat
Baseball's biggest pariah (well, other than A-Rod) belts a home run in his first plate appearance of the spring.
For those who didn't recognize the swing along with that number eight (or the, um, headline), that would be Brewers star Ryan Braun hitting a home run in his first plate appearance in a game since being suspended for the remainder of the 2013 season for his ties to the Biogenesis scandal.
Braun, 30, dealt with some nagging injuries and the aforementioned 65-game suspension last season, only managing 61 games. The five-time All-Star finished second in MVP voting in 2012 and won the award in the 2011. He's a good bet for a bounce-back season.
