VIDEO: Umps make D-Backs' Oliver Perez change undershirt

In the course of Arizona's 5-4 win over the Phillies on Friday night, Diamondbacks lefty Oliver Perez came in to face two batters. After Perez retired Chase Utley on a full-count fly-out, however, Phils manager Ryne Sandberg asked the umps to take a look at Perez's undershirt ...

Sure enough, the next man up, Ryan Howard, singled to left center.

Mind games on the part of Sandberg or genuine concern that Perez's cut sleeves were distracting his hitters? Mostly the former, I'd guess.
