WATCH: Orioles' Chris Davis joins 50-homer club
Orioles masher Chris Davis launched his 50th homer of the 2013 season on Friday and in doing so tied the club record.
On Friday night against the Blue Jays, Orioles first baseman Chris Davis authored the 43rd 50-homer season in MLB history. His blast, an eighth-inning clout off Steve Delabar that broke a 3-3 tie, also allowed Davis to tie Brady Anderson's single-season franchise record, which he set in 1996.

Davis, an MVP candidate this season, is now batting .296/.378/.653 on the year.
