In tense fashion, the Cubs prevailed over the Indians in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night, thus keeping their hopes of a championship alive. As is custom after any Cubs home victory, the sound system at Wrigley led the partisans in attendance in singing the Steve Goodman tune, Go Cubs Go. Given the stuffed-to-the-rafters attendance and enthusiasm of the moment, it was indeed an ear-bursting sing-along.

For instance, check out this footage of said sing-along shot from a high rise not all that close to the Friendly Confines ...

That video is shared by Reddit user BitterBamaFan. From the looks of it, it's shot from somewhere a bit east of the ballpark. Along and near Lake Shore Drive, you'll find a number of high-rise residential buildings, so this might be shot from somewhere in that vicinity. If that's the case, then you're talking about the better part of a mile away. Those are the sounds of baseball enthusiasm, people.

When you think about it, every song is a drinking song.
