WATCH: Young baseball fan has panic attack over souvenir ball
Souvenir baseballs are very, very important, and this kid's reaction to a foul ball from the Dodgers exhibition game in Australia proves that.
It’s hard to not commiserate with this kid. He’s probably seven years old and was the clear favorite to snag this foul ball from a recent Dodgers vs. Aussie all-star exhibition game, but the outfielder tossed the ball a few tantalizing inches short.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the security guard retrieved the ball and gave it to the wrong kid, despite every single finger pointing directly at the kid freaking out in the bright yellow shirt.
Freaking out might be an understatement. Little Johnny was going to have a heart attack if he didn’t take home that baseball. Fortunately, he wound up with the ball and avoided a full-blown meltdown. Everybody wins.
