That, of course, is hard-hittin' Darren Daulton, former long-time major-league catcher, Phillies stalwart and veteran of too many knee surgeries to chronicle. His legs are iced, and he is reposed upon a recliner of regal appointments after nine innings of honest toil. The Louvre is where this belongs.
This towering oil on canvas comes to us courtesy of Mr. Daulton's Facebook page. However, an Internet search for similar images fails to turn up the name of the artist. As such, we'll assume it was gifted to all of us from Heaven above.
