Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig was forced to leave Friday night's game in San Diego after four at-bats. He was replaced by Scott Van Slyke and the Dodgers later announced that Puig was pulled due to a mild left hip muscle strain.

No word was given as to a status, but given the word "mild" in there, we can probably safely assume Puig is day to day and might even play Saturday.

Puig went 1-for-4 with two RBI and is hitting .324/.413/.544 on the season.

If Puig does miss any time, the Dodgers can go with Van Slyke in right field alongside Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp in the outfield.
