| Injuries wearing on Slowey: Cleveland starting pitcher Kevin Slowey, currently at Triple-A Columbus, was placed on the seven-day disabled list with a right lat strain, the team announced. Slowey, who also dealt with a minor hand issue last month, has made eight starts this year. There is no timetable for his return. (Updated 05/22/2012) |

| Slowey joined the Indians following an offseason trade from Colorado. The veteran right-hander has compiled a 3-3 record and 5.14 ERA with Columbus and could be used as a spot starter later in the season. For now, he should not be viewed as a worthwhile Fantasy option. (Updated 05/22/2012). |
