| CarGo snaps HR drought: Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez registered his 13th multi-hit game of the season during Sunday's contest against the Mariners. Gonzalez collected three hits in the 6-4 defeat, including belting his eighth home run of the season. He ripped the solo shot off starter Jeremy Guthrie in the first inning. Gonzalez also added a double and a RBI single in the ninth inning, finishing 3 for 4 with a pair of RBI in the loss. (Updated 05/20/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Gonzalez had gone 15 games since belting his last long ball, so it was nice to see him go deep on Sunday. The 26-year-old has managed to stay fairly consistent at the plate this month as he is hitting .310 with four home runs and 14 RBI in May. He is also posted a .360 on-base percentage over that stretch and looks like he is in for another big year if he can stay healthy. Fantasy owners should continue to roll with Gonzalez as a must-start option in all formats heading into Week 8 (May 21-27). (Updated 05/20/2012). |
