| Fantasy Analysis |
| Colvin had a 20 home run season in a part time roll 2010, but suffered a late injury and was never able to find his stroke last season, as he hit .204 with six home runs in 80 games. The move to Coors’ Field could help the 26-year old find his swing again, and if there’s any place to find Fantasy relevance, it’s in the hitter’s paradise in Denver. It’s not clear if he will be able to find a spot in the outfield for the Rockies, and they might just be acquiring him as organizational depth. Obviously his Fantasy value would be dependent on finding a starting spot, but if he does, he could be an intriguing sleeper in NL-only leagues. (Updated 12/09/2011). |
