| Morrow doesn't last long vs. Rangers: After tossing a complete game shutout his last time out, Blue Jays pitcher Brandon Morrow had an ugly outing on Friday against the Rangers. He allowed six runs on five hits with three walks while only recording two outs in the 14-3 loss. The right-hander walked the first two batters he faced and then after recording one out, gave up a two-run single to Adrian Beltre. Texas would plate four more runs during the frame and Morrow was done after giving up a double to Ian Kinsler. He threw just 44 pitches, 26 for strikes. Morrow did not post a strikeout while taking his third loss of the season. "I'm just going to pretend that that game never happened," said Morrow. (Updated 05/26/2012) |

| Morrow had his worst outing of the season by far on Friday and saw his ERA rise from 2.63 to 3.47 as a result. He has been able to string together some impressive starts thus far but owners should keep in mind that he can get knocked around from time to time. His potential in Fantasy makes the 27-year-old a worthwhile option in the majority of Fantasy formats. His next start is scheduled for Wednesday against the Orioles. When Morrow faced Baltimore on April 13, he allowed four runs over seven innings in the no-decision. (Updated 05/26/2012). |
