| Herrera facing Tommy John: Mets relief pitcher Danny Herrera has suffered a tear in his left elbow and will undergo Tommy John surgery, according to ESPN.com. Herrera, 27, was one of the last cuts by New York during spring training as he lost in a competition for the last remaining bullpen spot. (Updated 04/20/2012) |
