| Fowler not prepared to return: Colorado outfielder Dexter Fowler was held out of the starting lineup for Friday's game at Cincinnati as he continues to deal with an ankle injury. It's the second straight start Fowler has missed after rolling his ankle during Tuesday's contest at Miami. He did serve as a pinch-hitter on Wednesday. | Fowler continues to underwhelm and has registered just one hit over his past six games played to drop his batting average to .232 on the season. The 26-year-old still struggles with an inflated strikeout rate and has whiffed 31 times in 41 games. Fantasy owners should monitor his status, but the injury is not considered serious if he is able to pinch-hit. When healthy, he is considered an reserve option in NL-only formats.
