| Harrison strong in victory: Rangers starting pitcher Matt Harrison bounced back from a couple of poor outings on Tuesday by tossing seven quality innings as the Rangers defeated the Mariners, 3-1. Harrison matched a season high with six strikeouts in the game, while scattering seven hits and two walks in his seven innings. He allowed just one run, in the first inning, and then settled down to push his record on the season to 5-3. (Updated 05/23/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Harrison’s ERA sits at 4.72, however he has won five games on the season anyways thanks to the Rangers’ league-best offense. Harrison is coming off a season in which he posted a 3.39 ERA, so this season has been something of a disappointment for him, despite the solid win total. His peripherals are similar to last season’s, however, so there is some hope that he could begin pitching better soon. He is set to pitch twice in Week 9 (May 28-June 3), facing Seattle again on Monday before heading to Los Angeles to face the Angels. He can be considered a viable Fantasy option with two starts coming up. (Updated 05/23/2012). |
