Tampa Bay opts to take back Morlan: The Brewers returned RP Eduardo Morlan to Tampa Bay on Thursday. Milwaukee had tried without success to work out a deal that would allow them to send Morlan, a Rule-5 draft pick, to the minors, but the Rays chose to reacquire the pitcher. Morlan had been designated for assignment earlier in the week to clear a roster spot for Wes Littleton.
