| Loss hits home for Price: Tampa Bay starting pitcher David Price (6-3) yielded two runs -- one earned -- and six hits during the Rays' 2-0 loss to Atlanta in an interleague matchup on Sunday. Price, who entered the game tied for the major-league lead in wins, registered seven strikeouts and walked three batters. It was the second time in his past three starts he has issued three walks, but he was able to trim his earned-run average to 2.88. Price did, however, allow a home run for the third game in a row after Davis Ross clubbed a solo shot in the third inning. (Updated 05/20/2012) |

| Sunday's defeat marked Price's first loss at home this season as he entered the game 3-0 at Tropicana Field behind a 1.16 ERA -- among the lowest in the American League. The left-hander was still stingy against the Braves and held an opponent to two runs or less for the sixth time in nine total starts. Price has shown better command following some early rust as he's vaulted into the top 10 in the AL with 52 total strikeouts. His next start is projected for Friday at Boston. Consider him a strong Fantasy option as he is 3-2 with a 4.66 ERA in five roads starts this year. (Updated 05/20/2012). |
