| Snider aggravates wrist injury: Toronto outfielder Travis Snider, playing with Triple-A Las Vegas, removed himself from a game last Wednesday after he aggravated his right wrist injury, reports MLB.com. Snider is still feeling symptoms when he swings and removed himself for precautionary measures. Snider recently came off the minor league DL with the same ailment. "He felt some of the soreness still in the wrist and felt like two days or three days down just to give him a chance to recoup was needed," manager John Farrell said. "He needs to be re-evaluated today [Sunday] to begin swinging of a tee and taking batting practice again. There's some lingering discomfort." (Updated 05/20/2012) |

| Snider is batting .333 down at Triple-A with five homers, but needs to get himself healthy before he's going to be considered for a recall by the Blue Jays. Snider is at the Quad-A level at this point in his career. He's trying to breakthrough at the MLB level, but he is having trouble and injuries only compound that. Snider should only be stashed in deeper seasonal formats, particularly AL-only, and long-term keeper leagues. (Updated 05/20/2012). |
