| Weaver brought off DL: The Dodgers activated RP Jeff Weaver from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday. The 34-year-old had been out since Aug. 3 with tendinitis in his left knee. | Weaver had not been very effective prior to going on the DL, posting a 5.35 ERA in 37 innings, all in relief. Even in leagues that use middle relievers, owners are better off going with someone who has demonstrated better command. Weaver can be ignored in virtually all leagues. (Updated 08/22/2010). |
