| Conger on road to recovery: Angels catcher Hank Conger has started a throwing program as he continues his recovery from an elbow injury, according to MLB.com. Conger, who is on the roster for Triple-A Salt Lake, is likely two weeks away from returning to game action. (Updated 05/11/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| If healthy, Conger likely would have been recalled from the minors as the Angels scramble for options to take the place of catcher Chris Iannetta, who went down with a wrist injury. Conger could still see time with Los Angeles after he recovers as Iannetta is expected to miss six to eight weeks. The 24-year-old is hitting .357 with 11 runs scored for Salt Lake this season. Consider him a marginal option in AL-only Fantasy formats. (Updated 05/11/2012). |
