| Porcello among Tigers' 12 cuts: The Tigers trimmed 12 players from their spring roster Wednesday: RHP Armando Galarraga and LHP Macay McBride were optioned to Triple-A, while RHP Rick Porcello was optioned to Class A; RHP Jeff Gerbe, C Joe Bowen, C Dusty Ryan, C James Skelton, 1B Jeff Larish, INF Daniel Worth, OF Matthew Joyce, OF Wilkin Ramirez and OF Clete Thomas were reassigned to minor league camp.
