| Betancs awful at Triple-A: Yankees pitching prospect Dellin Betances is off to a brutal start for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Betances has gone more than five innings in any of his four starts. He is 0-2 with a 8.83 ERA and 2.19 WHIP. He also has more walks (17) than strikeouts (16) in 17 1/3 innings. (Updated 04/23/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Betances hasn't done very well since being promoted to Triple-A last season. He is 0-5 with a 6.81 ERA and 1.80 WHIP in eight starts at Triple-A. He looks nothing like a top pitching prospect right now. The scouts have criticized Betances for his inability to repeat his delivery and throw strikes consistently. It seems those flaws are being exposed at Triple-A. These numbers are not going to get Betances to the majors any faster. He still has Fantasy value in long-term keeper formats, but if he doesn't clean up his act, then his prospect appeal is going to fade. (Updated 04/23/2012). |
