by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

One day after being named to the American League All-Star team, Yankees pitcher Dellin Betances pitched two scoreless innings to pick up his first career save in Monday's 5-3 win over the Indians.

Betances needed just 15 pitches to rack up six outs, giving up one hit in his two innings of action and striking out one. He's been one of the best relievers in baseball this season, posting a 1.55 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 79:16 K:BB ratio in 52 1/3 innings.

Dellin Betances records fourth win Tuesday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

Yankees pitcher Dellin Betances earned a win Tuesday after giving up one earned run on two hits in 1 1/3 innings and striking out two in his team's 3-2 victory over the Mariners.

Betances (4-0) was charged with a blown save after allowing the game to be tied up in the seventh inning, but the Yankees were able to score the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth and get him another win. Betances owns a 1.69 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 63:10 K:BB ratio in 37 1/3 innings.

Time to take Dellin Betances seriously
by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer

Some Rotisserie league owners caught on to what Dellin Betances was doing in April and added him then. But the majority, not wanting to limit their pitching staffs' upside by committing a spot to a middle reliever, wanted to figure out what they had -- or what they could have -- at starting pitcher first.

After all, turning to a middle reliever is supposed to be a last resort. What little you gain in ERA and WHIP, you more than give up in strikeouts and wins.

Except in Betances' case, maybe not. For more on why he needs to be added in the 62 percent of leagues where he's still available (or at least all Rotisserie formats), check out my latest post on the Fantasy Baseball Today blog.

Dellin Betances looks like Yanks' closer of the future
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com

Yankees reliever Dellin Betances was "scary good" on Sunday against the Twins, reaffirming his status as New York's closer of the future, reports ESPN.com. Betances needed 10 pitches to strike out the side in the sixth inning.

The website expects Betances to push for the closer's job as early as 2015. Betances is 3-0 with a 1.38 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 32 2/3 innings.
