| Pill blasts third home run : Giants outfielder Brett Pill belted his third home run of the season during Sunday's contest against the Diamondbacks. Pill ripped the two-run shot off starter Joe Saunders in the fifth inning. That would turn out to be his only hit in the contests as Pill finished 1 for 5 with a pair of RBI in the 7-4 win. | Fantasy Analysis |
| Pill continues to see time at mainly first base and the outfield for the Giants but has only started 11 games thus far. That makes tough for the 27-year-old to keep his timing at the plate as well as be a consistent Fantasy producer. Unless he starts playing everyday, Pill should only be owned in deeper NL-only formats. (Updated 05/13/2012). |
