| Fantasy Analysis |
| Wood pitched well enough to win on Tuesday but he got his pitch count up early and could not make it through the sixth inning. Still, he has allowed just five earned runs in two outings this season and should continue to see starts with Chris Volstad down in the minors. The 25-year-old has some intriguing upside in Fantasy so consider adding Wood in NL-only formats. His next start is scheduled for Monday against the Padres, which lines him up for two starts during Week 9 (May 28-June 3). He would also face off against the Giants during the upcoming scoring period as well. (Updated 05/22/2012). |
