| Demel was optioned to Reno in late July after struggling for a few outings. He had been one of the Diamondbacks' better relievers in 2011, but a bout of right shoulder tendinitis derailed his season. Demel might have a future as a closer in the majors, but for now he will mostly get work as a middle reliever/setup arm, so he has minimal Fantasy appeal. (Updated 09/01/2011). |
