| Padres begin roster shuffle: The San Diego Padres made their first cuts of the spring Thursday and moved the following players to their minor-league camp: Blake Tekotte (Triple-A Tucson), Juan Oramas, Jose De Paula, Erik Hamren, Edinson Rincon (Double-A San Antonio), Rymer Liriano (Class A Lake Elsinore), Robbie Erlin and Jason Hagerty.
