| Izturis forced to leave early: Brewers shortstop Cesar Izturis came up limping while rounding third base during the sixth inning on Friday in Arizona, and would ultimately have to leave the game, being diagnosed with a strained left hamstring. He finished the game 2 for 3 with an RBI and a strikeout, before being replaced by newly acquired infielder Cody Ransom. (Updated 05/26/2012) |

| Izturis has been starting since Alex Gonzalez went on the disabled list, but now he will have to deal with this injury. He is hitting just .216 on the season and was due to be replaced in the starting lineup on Saturday by Ransom, so we will have to see how his playing time is affected moving forward. We will keep an eye on his status going forward, however Izturis is not worth starting in most Fantasy formats when healthy. (Updated 05/26/2012). |
