| Abreu dealt to Cubs organization: The Cubs and Indians announced that they finalized a trade that sent Kosuke Fukudome to the Indians in exchange for minor leaguers Abner Abreu and Carlton Smith. The Cubs recalled Tyler Colvin from Triple-A Iowa to take his place on the roster. The Indians designated OF Travis Buck for assignment in order to make room on the roster. (Updated 07/28/2011) |
